Innovation Deli Ltd., a UK-based developer and marketer of formulations for personal care and pharmaceutical products, has won the Rexam 3rd Annual Formulation Challenge for its body wash, specially designed for use in Rexam’s squeeze-operated EZi foamer, the focus of this year’s competition. Innovation Deli will receive an award of 10,000 euros.

In other news, Rexam teamed with Degussa GmbH, to develop a new foaming lotion formulation, said to be the industry’s first. It was discovered through Degussa’s advanced use of cationic surfactants, which resulted in new levels of spreading ease, as well as superior absorption, skin treatment properties, emulsification and leave-on properties. The formulation works with Rexam Airspray’s one-touch mechanical foamers.
